Om 21.00 uur had 63,8 procent van de stemgerechtigden zijn of haar stem uitgebracht. Ter vergelijking: in 2022 lag de opkomst op dat moment op 56,55 procent. In 2018 was dit 62,5 procent. De lagere opkomst in 2022 is mogelijk te verklaren doordat vanwege corona niet alle stembureaus geopend waren.
